★  A New Direction for Plaquemines Parish  ★

Meet Benny Rousselle

Honest Leadership. Transparency. Action.

Plaquemines Parish deserves a leader who shows up, gets things done, and puts residents first.

Benny Rousselle — Bring Back Benny to Get Things Done

For nearly 30 years, Benny Rousselle has served Plaquemines Parish — as state representative, four-term councilman, two-term parish president, and justice of the peace. When Hurricane Katrina devastated the region, Benny led the recovery. He showed up, took responsibility, and rebuilt.

Today, the Parish is struggling. Water systems are failing. The permit department is a bottleneck. Grass goes uncut, roads go unrepaired, and assets like Fort Jackson and Port Eads have been left behind. The current administration keeps expanding its budget while contracting out the work — a sure sign it doesn't know how to run parish government. But, Benny does.

Benny also led the fight against the bridge tolls since day one — he's the lead plaintiff in the lawsuit to eliminate them permanently, not just suspend them. Plaquemines Parish residents should never have to pay to access their own parish.

★  Benny's Priorities  ★

What Benny Will Do

Real solutions. No excuses.

  • ★Fix the water infrastructure and establish an agricultural rate
  • ★Permanently eliminate the bridge tolls
  • ★Streamline the permit department
  • ★Reinvest in Ft. Jackson and underserved communities; commercialize Port Eads
  • ★Fully fund EMS and fire services — staffing, equipment, and support
  • ★Restore transparency and accountability with a responsible budget
  • ★Deliver faster, more responsive parish services — without raising taxes

"The time for excuses is over."

This campaign is about putting Plaquemines Parish first — protecting our families, supporting our businesses, and building a future our children deserve.
